    Topics in the ICIG 2017  
    Technical Program  | 
    The 9th International Conference on Image and Graphics (ICIG) will be held in the ZTE Hotel (Shanghai), China, on September 13 - 15, 2017. ICIG is the biennial conference organized by China Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG), focusing on innovative technologies of image, video and graphics processing and fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and networking. It will feature world-class plenary speakers, exhibits, and high quality peer reviewed oral and poster presentations. 
      Topics in the ICIG 2017 Technical Program include but are not limited to the following:

      Shanghai: 
      Shanghai  is the most populous city in China and one of the most populous cities in the  world. A global city, Shanghai exerts influence over global commerce, finance,  culture, art, fashion, research and entertainment. The city is located in the  middle portion of the Chinese coast, and sits at the mouth of the Yangtze  River. The city is a tourist destination renowned for its historical landmarks,  such as the Bund and City God Temple, and its modern and ever-expanding Pudong  skyline including the Oriental Pearl Tower. Today, Shanghai is the largest  center of commerce and finance in mainland China, and has been described as the  "showpiece" of the world's fastest-growing major economy. 
      Paper Submission:  
        Prospective authors are invited to submit full-length papers in PDF format prepared in the Springer’s Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) template and written in English at the submission website (https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/ICIG2017/), with 10 to 12 pages with for technical content including figures and references. All the papers accepted for presentation at the conference will be included in the Proceedings of ICIG 2017, to be published by Springer’s LNCS series as well as be indexed by EI.
